Over the years, we’ve basically eliminated running shoes from our wardrobe except for trips to the gym and work in the  yard. If you’re the same way, but miss the comfort of your favorite runners from time to time, we have just the shoes for you.  Striking a rare perfect balance of boot and sneaker, the Holdyn Leather Boots from Tretorn are definitely a solid addition to any shoe collection.

Featuring a leather upper paired with a sole that seems to take some inspiration from running shoes of the 80’s, the Holdyn’s are definitely a rare breed.  With a toe box that looks strikingly similar to our favorite boatshoes, and a wool blend buffalo check lining, these boots definitely fill a gap in our Fall and Winter wardrobes.  Available in brown or black (we prefer the brown), the Holdyns are a great choice under your favorite jeans or chinos on those days that are too cold for boatshoes, yet not quite cold enough to break out the heavy duty boots.
