For the first time since we were in school, we actually took the entire week between Christmas and New Years’ off to unwind and recharge our batteries for what is already shaping up to be one heck of a year.   While it was definitely nice to take some time away from the hustle of everyday life, we’re glad to be back to the grind today.  Though we wouldn’t call it a resolution, this year we’re going to make a conscious effort to upgrade some of the basics in our wardrobe, the pieces that will literally never be out of style.  First up is the basic white dress shirt.  Out with the old and in with the White Fine Twill from our friends at Ledbury.

While we constantly talk about how pieces can work in a number of different ways, you would have a hard time finding anything more versatile than a white dress shirt.  Literally, this shirt would work with everything in our closet except for swimwear.  Available in classic or slim fit, and made from extra fine 2-fold Italian twill, this shirt is soft to the touch and has just a little bit of texture to break things up a bit.  Featuring a spread collar and Mother of Pearl buttons this is one of those shirts that you’ll find yourself wearing time and time again with anything and everything.
