In an effort to avoiding falling into a rut of grabbing the same jacket day in and day out, we’re doing our best to expand our collection of heavier cardigans this year.  One that has really caught our attention comes from Brooks Brothers.  Their Wool Fair Isle Shawl Collar Cardigan is exactly what we need to keep things interesting this season.

Though it is a new addition to the Brooks Brothers lineup, and ours as well, this cardigan has a classic appeal that will allow us to work it in with a variety of looks this Fall and Winter.  Featuring a classic Fair Isle pattern, imitation horn buttons, and a couple of small pockets for good measure, this sweater has a rich navy base that is broken up nicely with flecks of white and grey throughout.  Brooks Brothers says this sweater is reminiscent of one that a dad might hand down to his son.  If all goes according to plan that’s exactly what we’ll be doing.
