This time of year, we always ramp up our searches for wool bowties.  Luckily for us, it seems like more and more companies are incorporating them into their Fall/Winter lines, and there are a number of solid options out there right now.  One that we are really impressed with comes from an up and comer based in Atlanta, Mast-Mcbride.  Their Navy Tartan Wool Bow is sure to be a great addition to any bowtie collection.

Mast-McBride makes all of their ties at their workshop in New York from fabrics sourced all over the world.  Their Navy Tartan Bow is made from a heavy wool that was sourced in England, and features one of our favorite patterns, blackwatch plaid.  Literally, we are yet to see something that blackwatch does not look good on, and this bow is no exception.  Due to the thickness of the wool used for the Navy Tartan Bow, Mast-McBride notes on their website that you need to be a “bow tie pro, or willing to become one” if you are planning on placing an order for one.  We’re up for the challenge, are you?
