It’s no secret that we are big fans of Southern Proper, and we couldn’t be happier to see their line expanding.  Beyond the addition of some fantastic new beaus, Frat Hats, and Sweet Tees this season (reviews on all of the above coming soon), the SP team has recently rolled out some pieces that are unlike any they have ever brought to market.  One of those pieces is their Henning Field Shirt.

Inspired by the workwear of “Grandfather Stanley, one of the hardest working men in Henning,” this heavy 100% Peruvian cotton shirt feels broken in the first time you put it on, and we have a feeling it is going to get even better with each and every wash.  Featuring two pockets on the chest, one of which is adorned by Beau, the Southern Proper mascot, the Henning features a not too boxy, yet far from slim, fit that we really like.  Currently available in faded red, faded navy, forest green, and field khaki, the Henning is one of those shirts that you’ll find yourself going back to again and again.
