If the number of leaves falling is any indication of Fall being here to stay, we’ll be breaking out the heavy fabrics in no time at all.  We’ve always loved tweed, and this year it might be time to break down and buy another blazer for the rotation.  One that has really caught our attention as of late comes from the L.L. Bean Signature line.  Their Wool Tweed Blazer ($245) is great looking and built to last.

Available in Black Coffee Heather, or Charcoal Heather (shown), the Wool Tweed Blazer is one that we hope to have long enough to warrant the need  for elbow patches at some point way down the road.  Made from 100% wool and featuring functioning buttons at the cuffs, this blazer is heavy  enough to be your outer layer on a cold Fall day and looks just as great with jeans as it does with much dressier looks.  A staple of the L.L. Bean Signature line for the last few years, we have a feeling their Wool Tweed Blazer will be a staple in ours for years to come.
