In the past week or so, we’ve gotten a number emails asking what we are planning on wearing once our boatshoes are retired for the season.  We’re still holding off making the full transition for the time being, but there are a ton of fantastic options this year that we are really looking forward to trying out.  One such option is the Emerson boot; a recent collaboration from Filson and Wolverine.

Though we are normally a bit apprehensive when it comes to collaborations, it seems that Filson has found a great recipe for success.  Pair one iconic brand with another that has just as much of a history, and you’ll come up with something great.  That is absolutely the case with the Emerson boots.  Part of the Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection, these boots are build on the premise that the original Wolverine boots were made so well that you could get 1000 miles of wear out of them.  Well, with high quality Horween Chromexel uppers, and Filson heavy cotton twill accents, we’d be willing to bet that the Emersons are up for that challenge and then some.  Available in brown from Filson (shown), and rust from Wolverine, you literally can not go wrong pairing these boots with any casual look for the next few months.
