Though we hope we’re a few months away from having to retire our boatshoes for the year, we’ve already started to think about what might need to be added to our footwear rotation this Fall.  This year, our goal is to integrate a few textures and/or colors that aren’t currently represented in our lineup.  One option that is high on the list comes from our friends at Oak Street Bootmakers in the form of their Peanut Suede Vibram Sole Trail Oxfords ($302).

Just like the rest of the shoes in their lineup, Oak Street turned to Horween Leathers in Chicago when it came time to source the suede for these shoes, and we are absolutely loving the peanut color.  The hue is far different than anything we have, yet should blend in nicely with the vast majority of our wardrobe.  Featuring a thick Vibram sole, moccasin construction, and waxed laces, these Trail Oxfords are built to last, and will make a fine addition to any Fall collection.
