Though we spend most of our time on the water “under power,” one of our absolute favorite places in Annapolis is the training vessel marina at the US Naval Academy.  There, you’ll find their fleet of blue hulled sailboats with names like Brave, Honor, and Courage, sparkling against the waters of the Severn River.  That marina was the first thing we thought of when we saw the Sailboat Print and Gingham Bowtie ($68) by General Knot & Co.

Available in extremely limited quantities, the Sailboat Print and Gingham Bowtie is a dark horse contender for our favorite bowtie of the summer.  Featuring a vintage 1970s sailboat pattern printed on navy seersucker, and vintage red and white gingham, this reversible bow will have you wanting to wear it again and again just so you can tie it a different way.  We have no idea how the guys from General Knot & Co. find such great looking vintage fabrics, but we sure are glad they do.
