Lately there’s been a ton of press for something that we just can’t wrap our heads around, super short shorts.  From day one, we’ve said that we’ll only post about things that we would wear ourselves, and we’re sticking to our guns on this one.  That said, if you are confident rocking a 5 inch inseam*, more power to you.  In our opinion, anything shorter than about a 7 inch inseam is a bit much unless you are at the beach, or going for a run.  If you are of the same train of thought, head on over to Brooks Brothers ASAP, their Garment-Dyed Plain-Front 7 Inch Twill Shorts are currently on sale for $51.

Made from lightweight cotton, and featuring with a shorter than average inseam, these shorts are a fantastic pick for a hot summer day regardless of what you have planned.  Just like all of Brooks Brothers’ Garment-Dyed shorts, the 7 inchers come prewashed, so you’ll have them perfectly broken in in no time flat.  As of this writing, it appears that all five colors (Grey, Khaki, Light Blue, Navy, and Red) have some pretty solid sizes available for something that has been marked down 40%, but we’d recommend acting fast if you want to pick up a pair or two.
