This time of year, we tend to break out the woven and ribbon belts as often as possible.  Well, this year we’re going to be wearing a casual leather brown belt a bit more frequently thanks to the team over at Oak Street Bootmakers.  After spending some time drooling over their shoes, we clicked over to their accessories page and knew right away that we were going to have to add the Oak Street Brown Ring Buckle Belt ($109) to our rotation.

Made of the same chromexcel leather as the Oak Street shoes, this belt is literally made to last a lifetime.  With waxed stitching, and an antiqued brass ring buckle, there is nothing flashy about this 1.25″ belt by any means, and that is exactly why we like it so much.  With a classic simplicity that will look great for as long as the belt will last (probably longer than we will), the Ring Buckle Belt from Oak Street Bootmakers isn’t just going to see heavy wear from us in the next few months, we have a feeling it’s going to end up as the “go to” for jeans or chinos for years to come.
