By now, you know how we feel about brand collaborations.  There have been some great ones lately, but overall we see far more misses than we do hits.   One of those great ones comes from a pair of industry titans, Levi’s and Filson.  Their Oil Finish Shelter Cloth Hunter Trucker Jacket ($278) is everything a great collaboration should be.  It truly showcases some of the best these brands have to offer.

The Oil Finish Shelter Hunter Trucker Jacket (say that five times fast) combines some of our favorite things from the storied catalogs of both Levi’s and Filson.  Featuring a classic Levi’s Trucker Jacket silhouette, and Filson Oil Finish Shelter Cloth, this jacket is one that will not only last for generations, it will stay in style for just as long.  Of course, Filson had to make this jacket one that was suitable for a day in the fields, so beyond their durable fabrics, the jacket also has a few extra pockets that are normally reserved for hunting attire.  The OFSHTJ has a bit of a trim fit, so if you are looking for a slim silhouette, stick with your regular size.  If you want to throw it on over a heavy sweater, or even a hoodie, we’d definitely recommend sizing up.  Either way, it will be a great look for years to come.
