In our opinion, other than good company, the key ingredient for any successful Super Bowl party is a solid selection of food and drink. One of our favorite additions to any party menu is a great crab dip, and the recipe we use comes from a staple of Maryland cuisine, Old Bay. We are far from chefs, but even we can put this one together.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 pound lump crab meat
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Mix 3/4 cup of cheese, mayonnaise, Old Bay, Worcestershire sauce, and ground mustard.
- Add crab meat to your mixture.
- Spoon mixture into 1-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese and a a bit more Old Bay over the top.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until the edges start to bubble.
- Serve with crackers, pita, or sliced french bread.
Enjoy the game everyone!
