Though some women would disagree, we think horizontal stripes are a good look.  We probably wouldn’t go as far as to rock a full suit of horizontal stripes, but sweaters, shirts, and ties, are 100% fair game.  Recently, we came across a fantastic mid-weight sweater from Tommy Hilfiger that features this polarizing pattern.  It’s a good bet that their Prep Stripe Sweater ($88) will be finding it’s way into our wardrobe in the very near future.

With a colorway that we have yet to see look bad (Midnight/White), the Prep Stripe Sweater is one that you will be able to mix and match with just about anything in your closet.  Made of 100% cotton, this crew neck sweater looks fantastic over a slim cut sport shirt and can also stand alone without issue.  One thing we really like is that the Prep Stripe cut is closer to that of your favorite long sleeve t than it is a traditional mid-weight sweater.  It may make layering a bit tougher over some shirts, but the overall look you will get with the Prep Stripe Sweater is definitely a great one.
