A pair of wingtips is an absolutely essential piece of any well dressed man’s wardrobe, and while we already have a couple pairs, we are giving some serious thought to adding another one to the collection.  By serious thought, we mean we have been spending far too much time drooling over a number of pairs online.  Though we aren’t positive which pair will make it’s way into the rotation, we do know that the next pair of wingtips we buy will be in boot form.  Currently, one of the frontrunners in our search is the Zachary ($360) by Walk-Over.

By putting a more casual spin on the Zachary, Walk-Over has managed to create a boot that looks fantastic with the two pairs of casual pants we wear most frequently this time of year, jeans and cords.  Not only do these boots look great, they have a cushioned leather footbed and vibram sole that makes them an extremely viable option for days that you know you will be spending a good bit of time on your feet.  Featuring a Plainsman Tan leather upper that will only get better with age, and  Goodyear welt construction that will stand up to frequent wear for years on end, we can’t wait to see what the Zachary’s look like as they begin to develop a bit of patina.
