As we are finally starting to actually enjoy the crisp Fall mornings, we have found ourselves going back to one type of layering piece again and again.  Always a staple of the wardrobe, our v-neck sweaters are seeing some heavy use this season, and we are absolutely loving the look.  Over a shirt and tie (or bowtie), or a more casual sport shirt, it is just a look that we are really liking right now.  If you are in the same boat, you are going to love the Solid V-Neck Sweaters ($110) from our friends at Southern Tide.

In our opinion, the Southern Tide V-Necks definitely shade towards casual, but that shouldn’t keep you from wearing them to the office over your favorite sport shirt.  With a high V that opens things up far more than a crew neck, but not too much, the sweaters featured the famed Southern Tide Skipjack embroidered on the left chest.  Currently available in 4 colors (Holly Berry is shown), the sweater is made of a soft Peruvian Pima Cotton that adds enough weight to take the chill out of the air, but not so much that you will be left sweating as soon as you are back indoors.  Though the V-neck makes a great outer layer for now, we have a feeling it is going to continue to see use as a mid layer for the next few months.
