Drift Knots by Kiel James Patrick

When it comes to women’s jewelry and accessories, it never ceases to amaze us just how important the smallest pieces can be.  It doesn’t matter if you are talking about necklaces, bracelets, or earrings, if the piece doesn’t work with the rest of an outfit, an entire look can be ruined.  That being said, there are some simple pieces that look great with everything.  For example, a pair of pearl earrings.  That is probably while Kiel James Patrick used a pair as inspiration for his first offering in the world of women’s jewelry, which he has dubbed Drift Knots ($22).

While there probably isn’t one single pair of Drift Knots that are as versatile as a classic pair of pearls, that doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to find a pair to match nearly any ensemble.  With sixteen options currently available (Sherronex Taughtline is shown), these woven silk earrings will add a simple elegance to any look.  Hand-crafted in Rhode Island, each pair of Drift Knots features sterling silver hardware and a “classic New England motif.”  KJP says that the pearls he used as inspiration were from an oil painting of Jackie Kennedy.  If she were still with us today, we think she would definitely be seen in a pair Drift Knots from time to time.
