There are very few things we enjoy more than teeing it up on an early weekend morning.  While rolling out of bed earlier than we do during the week can be rough, all of those cobwebs disappear as soon as we step on to the first tee box.  Of course, we are firm believers of the mantra “If you look good, you feel good.  If you feel good, you play good.”, so just because we are out the door early it doesn’t mean our fashion sense gets left at home.  In honor of this weekend’s Open Championship, we thought it would be fitting to profile something stylish for the golf course, and the Albatross Pants ($175) by Bonobos fit the bill perfectly.

Available in red or blue, the Albatross pants are made of a lightweight breathable plaid wool that will have you feeling like you should be out playing Royal St. George’s instead of your home course.  We all know about the Bonobos curved waistband, but one small addition we really like on the Albatross is the rubber insert along the middle of the waistband.  While that may seem odd to some, for those of us who always have issues with shirts coming untucked on the golf course, it is a huge plus.  One thing you should know prior to placing an order is that you are going to have to head to the tailor prior to the Country Club.  Bonobos has intentionally left the hem long on the Albatross so the wearer can dictate how the pants will break (hopefully better than many of our putts).  While we would rarely, if ever, suggest wearing golf pants to the office, the Albatross may just end up being an exception to the rule.
