Original Bootcut Jeans by 7 For All Mankind

Many times we overdress on “casual Friday” just to mix things up a bit, other times we take full advantage.  Today is one of those days when we are in full on casual mode, the dress slacks have been replaced with jeans, and there are no ties in site.  While some may scoff at the idea of dropping nearly $200 (or more) on jeans, we have to admit, we are definitely guilty of splurging every now and then.  If you have been thinking about stepping up to the next level of denim, but don’t want a pair of jeans that looks “fancy”, take a look at the Original Bootcut ($155-$198) by 7 For All Mankind.

With a dozen washes to choose from, you may be a bit overwhelmed if you have never jumped into the deep end of denim.  To keep things simple, we suggest the Bootcut in Camp Ashland (shown).  Camp Ashland is a 12oz rigid denim that goes through a serious stone wash (among other things) and ends up as one of the most comfortable pair of jeans we have ever tried on. The light wash looks great with everything from sport shirts to t-shirts, and is absolutely perfect for the upcoming months.  Even if you weren’t planning on adding new denim to your wardrobe this Spring, we highly recommend trying on a pair of 7’s if you never have.  Once you do, we think it is a pretty safe bet to say that you are going to find a reason to take the plunge into high end denim if you haven’t already.
