Since 1967 the Rancourt family has been hand crafting some of the finest shoes in the world up in Maine.  For years their creations carried the names of some of our favorite shoe brands instead of their own, but since the launch of Rancourt & Company a few years back, the family is finally getting the acclaim they so rightly deserve.  In a nod to the past, Rancourt & Co. recently released their 1967 collection.  Our favorite of the bunch is the 1967 Boot.

Made from Chromepak Horween leather, these boots have a classic design that would have been just as suited for wear in 1967 as they will be in today and probably fifty years from now.  The leather is tough, heavy, and built to withstand whatever you can throw at it all while looking good doing it.  Unlined, and finished off with a Vibram mini lug sole and rawhide laces, we can’t wait to see what these boots look like with a couple of battle scars.  If you’re interested in adding anything from the 1967 collection to your rotation, we’d recommend getting an order in now.  Each pair is made to order with a 3-4 week turnaround time.
