This weekend, our favorite barber shop, the Quinntessential Gentleman, had an event that allowed customers to custom dye their own Tretorn Nylites.  Nylites have been one of our casual shoes of choice over the last couple of years, and we were really disappointed that we couldn’t make it down for the festivities.  In an effort to get our Tretorn fix we decided to see what’s new on their website.  Right away, their Tournament Canvas caught our attention.

Just like Nylites, the Tournament Canvas is inspired by a classic tennis silhouette.  The result is a low slung, primarily canvas, shoe that is simple enough to wear with just about anything all Summer long.  Available in antique white or phantom black, each pair features a simple rubber midsole and outsole, but the EcoOrthoLite insole will keep them comfortable all day long.  If you’ve been looking for an alternative to a classic pair of Chucks or Jack Purcell’s, the Tretorn Tournament Canvas is a fantastic option.  Of course, just like a pair of white chucks, these’ll look even better with a little bit of dirt on them.
