Every year we try to find a short sleeve button down shirt that actually looks good.  We’ve gotten lucky a time or two, but with so many epic failures over the years, it may just be time to call it a day.  Luckily, the resurgence of the popover is still alive and well, and we love it as an alternative.  Today’s pick is the Riviera Popover from Bonobos.

For us, the biggest problem with short sleeve button downs has always been the fit.  For the most part, they are cut far too big, or way too small, we’ve rarely been able to find that happy medium that we always hunt for.  Luckily, Bonobos kept true to their other shirting cuts with their popovers, so whether you prefer the slim or standard, you’re covered.  Made from 100% cotton madras, the Riviera Popovers are available in Navy, Light Blue, White, Aqua, and a pretty solid plaid.  Our pick is the light blue, it’ll match just about everything.
