Happy National Seersucker Day, friends!  If you haven’t broken out your favorite seersucker pieces yet, today is certainly the time to do it. While we won’t be going all out with a suit like the ladies and gentlemen on capital hill, we will be donning some white and blue.  Our pick for the day is the Horizontal Stripe Seersucker Shirt from Brooks Brothers.

Sure it isn’t the most traditional seersucker shirt we’ve ever seen, but that’s what we love about this Brooks Brothers offering.  While it still maintains the classic white and blue color combination, the horizontal stripes are a fantastic change of pace. Available in both Regent (slim) and Madison (classic) cuts, Brooks Brothers has you covered regardless of how you prefer your shirts to fit.  For us, the way to go is the Regent.  Sure it’s slimmer, but we’d call it more of a tailored fit as opposed to a true “slim” fit.  Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with either of them.
