Happy Cinco De Mayo, friends! If you’re like us, you’ve been sucked into the novelty of the day and will probably be a couple of appropriately themed beverages. For us, that means Lageritas. We’ve made a few variations of this drink over the years, but the guys at Mason Shaker really nailed it.

The Lagerita
makes two cocktails
1 shot tequila
1 shot fresh lime juice
1 shot Cointreau
1 bottle Mexican lager (we like to use Pacifico)
2 strips of lime zest (to garnish)
1) Combine tequila, lime juice and Cointreau in the Mason Shaker.
2) Add ice to above the level of the liquid and shake for 5 seconds.
3) Strain into Collins glasses filled with ice and top with Mexican lager. Garnish with lime zest.
