Back in December, we featured the fleece jacket from Topo Designs.  Since then it’s been high atop our list of most worn outerwear, and as long as Mother Nature decides to keep trying to freeze us out, we don’t see that changing anytime soon.  Once we decide to give the fleece a bit of a rest, there’s a high probability another piece from the Topo Designs line will take it’s place in the rotation.  Take a look at their Mountain Jacket.

Not to heavy, yet not too light, this is one of those jackets that is built to be worn day in and day out.  With a breathable nylon shell, and a contrasting ripstop liner, each Mountain Jacket features four flap pockets out front, and a rear zipper pocket to store valuables, or the jacket itself should you so please.  Available in burgundy, navy, or black, there is a Mountain Jacket for every wardrobe, and whether you go with a staple like navy or black, or mix it up with the burgundy like we did with the Topo Designs fleece jacket, you really can’t go wrong.  It may be called the Mountain Jacket, but this one will look right at home on the coast or in the city.
