Images: Southern Proper

We love seersucker shorts, love them.  But, this Summer it looks like ours may be getting a bit of a break thanks to a new addition to the Southern Proper collection.  We haven’t laid hands on them yet, but it’s only a matter of time before a pair (or three) of their new Gingham Shorts make their way into our wardrobe.

With a tight gingham print, the look of these shorts from afar is reminiscent of seersucker, but up close the gingham is a fantastic alternative.  Featuring a 6 inch inseam, they may seem a bit short to some, but after a wear or two we have a feeling you’ll never go back to something longer.  Available in “Bocce Blue”, “Duck Egg”, and “Spike the Punch”, these shorts are built for Summer fun. Now we just need some warm weather and we’ll be good to go.
