Last Monday news broke that one of our favorite PGA Tour members, Jason Dufner, had signed on with Vineyard Vines. To say we are excited about the partnership would be an understatement. If you’re not familiar with Dufner, the best way we can describe him is that he’s the guy on tour you’d love to play a round with, and then head out for a few frosty beverages. Just a solid dude. Anyway, of course we were interested to see what Dufner would be wearing in his first official Vineyard Vines photo shoot, and we were not disappointed. Our favorite from Dufner’s first round with the whale? The Windowpane Sport Coat.
With a green and white windowpane print on a deep navy base, this is one of those sport coats that can be worked in to a variety of looks. Made from a Silk/Linen blend and finished off with double vents, two flap pockets, and a welted chest pocket, it’s probably more suited for the warmer months, but with the right pieces, you could probably stretch it to three seasons without much effort. While we’re sure ‘Duf Daddy’ would gladly swap his Vineyard Vines Windowpane Sport Coat for a green one come April, he’ll be looking quite dapper in it until then.
