When it comes to outerwear, you’ll never go wrong with something from Barbour.  They’ve been turning out fantastic coats for more than a century, and we’re yet to regret a single purchase that bears their name.  Today’s pick is sure to become a cold weather staple for anyone who adds it to their rotation.  It’s the Barbour Powell Quilted Jacket.

A bit of a warmer option than the classic Liddesdale, there are a number of small things on the Powell that we really like.  The first thing we were drawn to was the motorcycle jacket-like collar.  The collar still features the corduroy lining we’ve come to expect from Barbour, it’s just a bit more modern.  Second, is the fleece lining.  The extra layer of warmth mated with the quilted shell is definitely a welcomed addition this time of year.  Finally, the synthetic leather trim at the collar and cuffs that adds just a touch of style to a classic quilted look.  Available in olive, navy, or black, the Powell Quilted Jacket is a nice modern silhouette that still maintains Barbour’s timeless appeal.
