On our last visit to our favorite barbershop, The QG, we finally got a chance to check out there recently completed men’s store.  We’d heard that Tretorn would be included in the QG collection, and we were excited to see what else beyond staple Nylites they would have in stock.  The shoe that we left most impressed with was definitely the Gärde Stövel Vinter GTX.

A pair of comfortable boots is extremely valuable this time of year, and the Gärde Stövel Vinter GTX is a perfect pick for a casual look.  Featuring a waterproof canvas and leather upper, paired with a thick rubber sole and gore-tex lining, these boots are a fantastic choice to pair with your favorite jeans or cords, and should stand up to some pretty harsh conditions.  Yes, we realize the faux fur may be a deal breaker for some, but, for some reason, it really works on these boots.  Available in Black or Brown, the Gärde Stövel Vinter GTX is sure to become a winter staple for those days that are cold and wet, but not quite nasty enough for our trusty Bean boots.
