If there’s one thing we love more than a great looking bowtie, it’s a great looking bowtie with a great story to go along with it. We had a feeling that’s just what we’d get when we reached out to our friend Bryan down at Over Under to get the scoop on a new addition to their collection, The Setter Plantation Bow. We definitely weren’t disappointed.
The Setter Plantation bow was inspired by a couple of dogs that mean a lot to Bryan and his family. The first was found roaming North Georgia with a gunshot wound (seriously), and while he was never much of a gun dog, Casper took part in family adventures for years and was known to point at birds around the yard from time to time. The second pup, Lucy, was a family pet that also doubled as a “damn good bird dog”. Together, these dogs are immortalized on a beautiful woven silk tie that features a hunter and his dog locked on to a quail. With a deep navy base, this made in the USA bow is going to look great under a tweed jacket, and will make a solid addition to any bowtie collection whether you’re a hunter or not.
