Even if you don’t have to suit up often, you should always be ready to go should the need arise.  In fact, we’d take that one step farther and say that beyond the basic suits that you probably picked up for your first big job interview, you need to have one or two with a bit more character.  For us, the recently released Tonal Glen Plaid suit from Indochino fits that bill perfectly.

We’ve had nothing but great experiences with Indochino.  With just a few simple measurements and a handful of clicks, you’ll have a custom suit delivered to your door in about a month.  Made from 100% wool, the Tonal Glen Plaid suit features a charcoal base with a tonal light grey print.  For this suit, we’d go with a notch lapel, single vent, two buttons, a retro party lining, and maybe even a ticket pocket.  Sure, Glen Plaid isn’t too over the top, but when you’re used to solids and the occasional pinstripe you’ll feel like a whole new man every time you put it on.
