As of yesterday Duck Head is officially back.  They made a brief re-emergence a couple of years ago, and now it looks like they’re back for good.  With a collection that includes modern versions of some of our favorite pieces from way back, as well as some new items that we can’t wait to get our hands on, we have a feeling that things for Duck Head are going to be a little bit different this time around.

With a former Ralph Lauren executive at the helm, the new version of Duck Head remains true to the brand’s heritage, but with a few modern touches.  For example, the O’Bryan pant is now the staple chino in the collection.  It uses the same 8.2oz. Cramerton cotton twill used in Duck Head for their staple chinos back in the 80’s, but the cut is a bit more modern.  In another nod to Duck Head’s nearly 150 years of history, the new ownership group has also moved production of all of their apparel back to the US.  So, at the end of the day, one of our favorite brands from years ago is back and making some great looking staple pieces right here at home.  We’re pretty excited about this one.
