For a time there, we had basically sworn off polos.  All of ours hung at the ready for months on end while we went the sport shirt with rolled sleeves route.  Well, that phase is over, and we’re back to sporting polos pretty regularly these days.  Lately, we’ve been looking for a few that are suitable for the hottest of days, and one that we really like is the Grand Harbor option from Southern Tide.

Part of Southern Tide’s sport collection, the Grand Harbor’s cotton lisle fabric breathes far better than a traditional pique polo, provides some UV protection, and dries extremely fast should you get it wet.  Available with red coral or fairway green stripes, this polo features the same fit as a traditional Southern Tide polo, but the sleeves are open instead of banded. For us, what really sets the Grand Harbor apart is that Southern Tide continued the stripe pattern onto the collar.  Sure, it’s a small touch, but it definitely makes a big difference.  From the golf course, to the shoreline, Southern Tide once again has us covered.
