Last November we gushed over the Mariners Jacket from F.L. Woods. It became an absolute staple piece for us, and we were sad to pack it up when temperatures began to rise. Well, our friend Wayne and his team just introduced their take on a blazer, and the results are just as fantastic. Today we’re proud to introduce you to the F.L. Woods Burgess Blazer.
Named after W. Starling Burgess, a famed yacht designer and naval architect who was known to never go sailing without a blazer, this is a piece that you’ll grab each time you walk out the door. Made from dry waxed cotton, the Burgess Blazer will keep you dry should the weather turn, and keep you looking good no matter what the conditions are. Inspired by a 1920’s blazer, F.L. Woods adorned this one with brass buttons complete with embossed buoys, and a few well placed hints of red. Paired with jeans and a t-shirt or slacks and a sport shirt, we have a feeling this blazer will see just as much wear as our trusty Mariner’s Jacket did in the colder months.
