Today is an unofficial holiday here in Annapolis, it’s the day that the Blue Angels fly.  As part of Commissioning Week at the Naval Academy there are all kinds of events around town, but this is far and away our favorite, and after three years without them (thanks government budget cuts) we are looking forward to the show.  In honor of the Blue Angels’ return, our pick today is the Aviator from Randolph Engineering.

Randolph has been making sunglasses for the military for nearly forty years, and their Aviators are truly a classic.  Offered in three different sizes, the Randolph Aviators are available in five frame colors with a selection of six lenses, and two temple options.  You really can’t go wrong with any of the combinations, but for us the way to go is the setup above; gold frame, grey polarized lenses, and traditional skull temples.
