Back in December, we told you about one of our favorite places in Baltimore, The Quinntessential Gentleman.  With a fantastic array of products, and a top notch staff, the QG is always a place we enjoy visiting.  Recently, things have been taken to the next level at our local “Men’s Grooming Parlor”.  After months of work transforming over 1600 square feet, the wraps have finally been taken off the two newest additions to the QG family, “The SPA at QG”, and “The Office” cigar lounge.  In addition, they have introduced a new membership program that offers private access to an incredibly well-appointed members lounge (shown).

The SPA at QG expands upon The Quinntessential Gentleman’s already solid spa offerings.  With three new, well appointed, treatment rooms, and a redwood cedar sauna, the SPA is an oasis tucked into the hustle of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and the perfect place to unwind after a long day (or week) in the office.  Day lockers are equipped with a robe, towels, and slippers for your time at The SPA, and private bathrooms, with showers, are available so you can get cleaned up before you head out.

The Office, aptly named for those times when you need to get away without inquiring minds tracking your every move, features plush seating, private humidor lockers, and a flat screen TV to enjoy your favorite sports while enjoying your favorite smoke.  An extremely heavy-duty filtration system makes sure that the air is in constant motion, and smoke free.  Membership at The Office will grant you exclusive access to not only the wonderful smoking room, but also to the QG members lounge, and The SPA locker room.  With a reasonable initiation fee (80% of which will be put towards the purchase of cigars of your choice), and monthly dues, The Office is a great escape for any cigar aficionado.

Finally, the QG members lounge is the result of many customers voicing their desire to be able to relax at the QG long after their haircuts or other services have been completed.  From traditional gaming tables, to Golden Tee, to Silver Strike, to XBox 360’s paired with both 55 inch plasmas,  there is something to keep everyone entertained.  If you are just looking for a place to relax, or even do a little business, the lounge features wifi access, and a business station with a brand new imac.  All members are invited to store their favorite libation in the stainless steel refrigerator or wine cooler  that flank a wet bar stocked with any glassware you might need along with complimentary juice, mixers, and coffee.  The majority of your nominal initiation fee (less than that of The Office for those of you who are not cigar smokers) will be credited toward services at The SPA, and the low monthly dues are a small price to pay for such a fantastic space.

Needless to say, after touring the new facilities ourselves, there is a good chance that our visits to The QG are going to be a bit longer than they used to be.  If you have never been, we highly recommend you give it a shot.  Tell them Bows & Boats sent you!
