There may be snow on the ground, but after a brief warm up last week, we are 100% in Spring mode.  Though we aren’t wearing seer sucker just yet, that doesn’t mean that our favorite lightweight fabrics are inching their way closer to the front of the closet.  One thing in particular that we will be seeing a lot of in the coming months is madras.  From ties, to bowties, to shorts, to shirts, madras is never a bad choice.  The Custom-Fit Madras Bleecker ($98) from Polo Ralph Lauren, is definitely going to work it’s way wardrobe this season.

As with most of our favorite Polo pieces, the Madras Bleecker maintains a classic look that will remain in style for years to come.  With a simple plaid comprised of red, yellow, green, and blue, on a white base, it is a versatile option that looks just as good untucked with a pair of jeans as it does tucked in to a pair of chinos.  This extremely soft, 100% cotton, shirt features the quintessential embroidered pony on the chest, and, like all things that Polo considers “Custom Fit”, it has a bit of a slim cut, so if you tend to fall between sizes often we recommend sizing up in this one.
