With more snow on the ground than we’ve seen all year, we’re looking forward to Summer more than ever.  In fact, the more we think about it,  this year may just be our time to take the inseams up a bit and finally take the plunge on a pair of Chubbies.  Their new Boat Shorts seem to be right up our alley.

Available in three colorways, aptly named The Port-Siders, The Gunwales, and The Outriggers, Chubbies calls their Boat Shorts boatshoes for your thighs.  How could we say no?  Made from water resistant fabric, the Boat Shorts have a bit of boatshoe inspired detailing on the back pocket, and, of course, they feature the standard Chubbies 5.5 inch inseam.  Now all we need is Mother Nature to cooperate so boats can get back in the water ASAP.
