Earlier this week we touched on the fact that we are absolutely loving the trend of classic brands adding modern cuts to their collections.  While some companies are going all out with full lines, Red Fleece for example, others have simply added a new fit to the list of available options for a number of their classic pieces.  That’s the road Filson took with their new Seattle fit, and their Bonded Wool Seattle Cruiser is a jacket that we’d love to have in our collection.

Featuring classic Cruiser styling, this jacket has what we think is an absolutely timeless appeal.  The Seattle fit makes it a bit more flattering for those of us who prefer something a bit more trim, but there is still plenty of room for an extra layer or two when needed.  Featuring 12oz. boiled wool bonded to heavy cotton twill, this jacket isn’t the heaviest in the Filson collection, but for those of us who don’t live in a frozen tundra, it’ll see heavy use all season long.
