We’ve been singing the praises of Criquet Players Shirts for quite some time, and while we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon, today we’re featuring another fantastic option from Criquet.  The gents down in Austin recently took the wraps off of a collection of button downs, and we couldn’t be more impressed.

Made from 100% organic cotton, there are currently four patterns available in the Criquet long sleeve button down collection along with a classic solid white that will never be a bad choice.  Each features a pocket on the left chest, and you’ll have to choose between a button closure, or a pearl snap that pays homage to the brand’s Austin roots.  Either way, you can’t go wrong, but if you really want to be able to get the most out of this shirt as far as versatility is concerned, the button is probably the safe bet.  Our favorite part of these shirts is a touch that will rarely be seen but will definitely be put to good use.  Called the Bendle Sleeve, each button down in the Criquet lineup features an extra triangle of fabric between the bottom buttonhole and the hem  to make sure your shirt remains rip free no matter how many bottle caps you twist off.  These guys think of everything.
