For days when conditions are really bad, we will always turn to our favorite pair of Maine Hunting Shoes from L.L. Bean.  For those days that aren’t great, but don’t require the big guns, we prefer something with a bit more style.  Recently, we stumbled across the Long Branch Wingtip Boots from Allen Edmonds, and now it looks like we may be adding another pair of casual boots to our rotation in the very near future.

Though similar to the Dalton Boots that we featured last month, the Long Branch Wingtip Boot is definitely a far more casual option.  Available in dark brown grain (shown) or waxy brown leather, the Long Branch boots have a rugged Vibram sole, and red laces to set things off a bit.  Featuring Goodyear welted construction, these boots are fully recraftable and if you treat them right they will remain a constant in your boot lineup for life.
