Earlier this week the wraps were taken off of a brand new collection from High Cotton.  Dubbed Collection Reserve, this is the first group of luxe ties released from the gang down in Carolina, and we’re liking what we see.  There are some fantastic ties in the group, but our favorite of the bunch is the Green Velvet Diamond Point.

While we won’t condone draping yourself in it á la George Costanza, we are definitely fans of working a bit of velvet into your look when appropriate.  Handmade in the USA, High Cotton’s Green Velvet Diamond Point Bow is the perfect pick for a dressy occasion that you can still toe the line with your tie choice.  In our opinion, the diamond point itself is really what makes this bow shine as it is a fantastic departure from the butterfly cut that is normally used with velvet.  In fact, this is the first ever diamond point bow that High Cotton has ever released.  They’re going to have a tough time topping this one.
