So, apparently flannel is the “in” fabric of the season.  To be honest, we couldn’t be happier about that.  Of course, the classics are out in full swing, but what we really love is the huge number of brands that are just getting their start in the world of flannel.  One that we were really happy to see enter the market is Southern Tide.  Their Woodland Collection is great addition to their ever growing lineup, and our favorite of the bunch is the Upland Plaid.

Just like the rest of the Southern Tide sport shirts, the Woodland Collection flannels are primarily cotton with just a bit of stretch for added comfort.  Available in Elmwood or Silver Pine (shown), the Upland plaid is simple four-color midsized print that looks fantastic with your favorite pair of broken in jeans or chinos.  With a tonal Skipjack logo to compliment the expedition polymer buttons, the Upland Plaid Sport Shirt is a bit of a departure from most of the Southern Tide sport shirts in our collection, but a perfect fit for this time of year.  We’re looking forward to breaking this one out time and time again.
