We’ve really been impressed with the latest iteration of Duck Head. The new team at the helm is doing things right by keeping true to the brand’s tradition, yet adding new pieces to make sure the brand stays relevant and doesn’t disappear again. One of our favorite new additions is their Winston Gingham.
The grass is as green as the jackets, the azaleas are in full bloom, and it looks like we’re in for quite the entertaining weekend down in Augusta. We’ll be spending plenty of time glued to the coverage, but that’s no excuse to skip a Bowtie Friday. Our pick this week is the Augusta Pink Damask Bow from Starboard Clothing.
Golf spikes have gone through quite the transition over the last five years or so, and, truth be told, we were a bit leery of the casual shoe meets golf shoe combination that Fred Couples put on the map at the 2010 Masters. The look has grown on us over time, and we were definitely happy to see a boatshoe/golf shoe combo come to market. If you have been looking for the perfect pair of spikes for a casual round with the boys, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Augusta Green Canoos.
We’re a little late to the party, but there’s still some time left to enter a great giveaway from our friends at Mitchell Bat Co. and Pilot & Captain. This one’s simple, all you need to do is post the image above on Instagram, tag Mitchell Bat Co. and Pilot & Captain, specify your pick (#KC or #SFO) and you’re in.
This may just be our favorite week of the year when it comes to sports. The NCAA Championship Game, Opening Day, and The Masters all in the course of one week. We love college hoops, and we’ll probably both watch more than 100 baseball games this year, but if we had to pick one event to watch this week, it’s The Masters. No question. Whether you’re lucky enough to be going through the gates at Augusta National this year, or you’ll be watching from afar like us, you need to look the part.
