It’s no secret that bowties are a big part of our lives here at Bows & Boats. From formal occasions, to random days at the office, we always get pleasure from the conversations they start, or the second glances that come from the unsuspecting passerby. Well, now that summer is in full swing, we are breaking out a few more of our “fun” ties. While we still break them out from time to time in the colder months, it is a bit easier to get away with something a bit more out there when the weather is nice. “Want to go out on the boat?” Those seven words are always music to our ears on a Saturday morning, and the answer is almost always yes regardless of what was previously planned or who is asking. Other than interacting with our readers, one of the coolest thing about running Bows & Boats has been the ability to interact with some of our favorite brands. Many times, we reach out to them to ask questions about specific products, but it is always a thrill when they contact us. After our post about the Costa Del Mar Harpoon, we were pleasantly surprised when Costa reached out to us to ask if we would be interested in testing out a couple of different models. Memorial Day weekend is finally upon us, and it is officially the start of cookout season.
