Watching the Ravens last night, it really hit home that Fall is just around the corner. In fact, now we’re actually looking forward to some cooler weather and breaking out a few bows that we haven’t worn in a while. We’ll also be adding a few new ties to the collection this Fall, one of which will definitely be the Fall Plaid Bow from Mill City Fineries.

Though their recent relaunch brought a number of new products to market, Streaker Sports hasn’t forgotten their roots. Their incredibly comfortable shorts remain a staple in their collection, and while new styles will continue to be made, there are a few classics that won’t be restocked when inventory runs dry. If there’s a pair you missed out on, or have been pining for for years, you’re going to want to check out The Rafters. Not only are the remaining sizes of some general release pairs up for grabs, it appears our friends at Streaker came across a couple of boxes that included some of the more limited options as well.

A couple years back we came across Res Ipsa while we were on the hunt for a Blackwatch Plaid bowtie. Of course, we were also enamored with their kilim loafers, but we just haven’t been able to bring ourselves to pull the trigger on a pair. Yet. That said, one of their new Kilim Belts will be in our collection within a matter of days.

Truth be told, it’s been a few years since we’ve worn a Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt. For a while, they were somewhat of a staple piece for us on chilly days, but over the years we drifted apart. This Fall it looks like we’ll be reintroducing a Shep Shirt to the rotation in the form of one of the new Heather versions.

We’ve been fortunate enough to watch Lumina grow up right in front of us over the last few years. From the first time we saw their ties, we knew this team from Raleigh was going to make a mark, and they’ve definitely done just that in a very short time. Not only do we still love their tie collection, their shirting collection has become one of our favorites as well. Just look at their Blue Polka Dot Chambray Graham Shirt. What’s not to love?

Man, where has Summer gone? It seems like just yesterday we were dreaming about all of our upcoming adventures, and now we’re winding down one of the last of the season. This Bowtie Friday we’re down in NC and it only seemed fitting that we choose a local tie for the occasion. Today’s pick is the Wide Navy Seersucker Stripe Bow from High Cotton Ties.

In less than a month college football will be here. Repeat: IN LESS THAN A MONTH COLLEGE FOOTBALL WILL BE HERE! To say we’re excited for the season to begin would be an understatement, and we may or may not already be thinking about what to wear for the home opener. Before we know it, we’ll be packing up our Summer best and breaking out the sweaters and cords. That said, hopefully we still have at least two solid months of warm weather, because we’re once again adding to our swimsuit collection.
