When it comes to fan gear, it can be tough to find something that fits your style and also shows your team pride. Honestly, as guys we probably have it far easier than our female counterparts. From polos, to pants, to shoes of all colors, we can normally find whatever we need without too much effort. For the girls in our lives, finding the perfect pair of shoes for gameday just got much easier. After a couple of months of speculation, Jack Rogers has formally introduced their College Colors Collection ($98).
On just about everything, we prefer a slim silhouette. We find that things with a slim cut tend to look more put together, and generally just a bit more dressy. Don’t get us wrong, we aren’t saying that everything looks great with a slim or “skinny” cut, but there are definitely a ton of great slim options currently on the market. For example, for their Fall 2011 line, the team at Smart Turnout has released a fantastic group of slim cut ties. Our favorite is the Nelson ($79).

As excited as we are that college football has arrived, there are a few other events going on right now that also have our attention. One of which is the US Open. We have both played tennis off and on over the years, so the Open is an event that remains on our radar year in and year out. Honestly, the skill and power that is currently being displayed on the hard courts of New York is something that we think anyone could appreciate . Today marks the official start of one of our favorite seasons, college football season. Like many seasons, college football season has a dress code all its own. Depending on where you are in school, your gameday attire could range from jeans and a team hoodie to ‘go to hell pants’ and a school tie. We tend to drift toward the latter.
