We’re pretty big fans of needlepoint belts in these parts, but lately we’ve found ourselves looking for a new take on the old classics.  Luckily for us, Smathers & Branson just took the wraps off of a new project of theirs that we absolutely love.  It’s called Parlour, and their first lineup of belts is simply fantastic.

Each Parlour product features the same top notch needlepoint work that we’ve come to expect from Smathers & Branson, but that’s where the comparison ends.  See, instead of the looks that we’re used to when it comes to needlepoint, Parlour is pulling their inspiration from “iconic time periods, images, and themes.” Their first collection is inspired by the sea, and the results are downright awesome.  Not only are the themes unlike any we’ve seen, Parlour pairs their needlepoint with distressed leather and antique metals for a look that is far different than our standard needlepoint collection.  We love it.  How about you?
