Without question, our favorite winter coat is a classic peacoat.  It’ll literally never go out of style, it looks great with everything, and it’ll keep you as warm or warmer than any technical jacket out there.  If you’re ready to pull the trigger on a peacoat that will last a lifetime, we’d highly recommend checking out the Billy Reid Bond Peacoat.

Made famous by an appearance in the James Bond film SkyFall, this coat has been a mainstay in Reid’s Fall/Winter collections ever since.  Believe it or not, the story goes that Daniel Craig bought the jacket before filming started and liked it so much that he thought Bond should wear it too.  Though it’s available in a few different colors, we’ll always suggest classic navy when it comes to a peacoat.  For us, the pick of the litter here is the basic Bond Peacoat that features an 80/20 wool/nylon blend accented with horn buttons, leather under the collar, and a leather locker loop.  Whether you stick with navy like us, or go with one of the other options, this Billy Reid peacoat could literally be the last winter coat you ever need to buy.
