Lately we’ve been doing our best to expand our horizons to include classic pieces that we’ve never had in our wardrobe for one reason or another.  One of the pieces we’ve been on the hunt for is a denim shirt.  Seriously.  While the fear of a Canadian tuxedo is still very real, we’ve thought for quite some time that a ‘just right’ denim shirt could be a great addition to the lineup.  The Latrobe from Hugh & Crye might just be exactly what we’ve been looking for.

The key to pulling off a shirt like this is definitely going to be fit, and Hugh & Crye has that nailed.  Seriously, their fit system is truly one of the best in the business and as long as you’re honest when you fill out their quick questionnaire you’re going to very pleased.  Made of 100% ringspun cotton, this light weight denim shirt is washed for extra softness, but it looks tough as nails.  Finished off with two darts on the back and a button chest pocket and pen pocket, this shirt can stand up to a hard day in the shop but it’ll also look just as at home under your favorite tweed blazer.
